Celebrating Those Who Shaped Tanamakoon

This centennial year was a time to reflect on the impact of Tanamakoon’s incredible leaders—those who have shaped the camp experience and left a lasting legacy.

To recognize their dedication, alumni came together to support Friends of Algonquin Park with donations made in honor of:

Kim and Marilyn Smith
Patti Thom

As a tribute to their years of service and leadership, plaques have been placed at the Algonquin Visitor Centre, marking this meaningful gesture from Tanamakoon alumni.

In addition, we received special recognition messages from:

  • Kids in Camp President
  • Adam van Koeverden
  • Jocelyn Palm
  • Michael Runtz

Alumni contributions continue to support the values and experiences that make Tanamakoon so special.
